Any individual or organization may contribute to, or
participate in this program. The program is highly flexible.
While most projects will be completed within a Rotary
year (June to June), some like the scholarship program,
can be multi-year commitments. Plus, projects can be
interlocked to extend over a number of years.
The sponsors each decide the financial level and length
of their commitment. Based on their interests, they
can choose one or more projects in one or more schools.
No participant should worry that they complete only
one of many projects that a school needs to be sustainable.
Other participants will contribute to other needs.
Donors are encouraged to see first hand the current
situation and to get directly involved in managing a
project or adopting a school. Visiting the project sites
is encouraged and Rotarians involved with the program
will advise participants during the planning of their
trip.
